Apply now for a €10,000 fully funded EEnergy energy grant

Would €10,000 in funding power up energy efficiency improvements in your business?

Second call open: Apply before 28th February 2025 for this fully funded energy grant through EENergy.

In the next 2 years the EU-funded EENergy project will distribute €9 million for European SMEs to engage in activities, purchases or integrations to improve their overall energy spendings with a minimum of 5%.

€10,000 grants are available across Europe to SMEs that want to implement measures to reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint.

  • The funding can be used for investment, consultancy, skills & training, or a mixture of these.
  • Any approach that can be proven to achieve more than 5% energy savings is eligible.
  • Companies must were founded before January 1, 2023 and are already operational within the EU.
  • The grants are 100% funded and are non-repayable.
  • The deadline for applications in the second round is February 28th 2025.

A mixture of the activities across the three types is possible, with overall budgets larger than €10,000, but the overall grant funding to be provided will not exceed €10,000 per SME. SME can apply for financing 100% of an activity or propose a larger activity with a larger budget, to be co-financed from alternative private sources.

Irish businesses need to think green for future growth, says Paul O’Donovan. “One of the conditions that the banks and investors are looking at is how sustainable companies are into the future and what they’re doing from a green point of view.”

“Sustainability plans will be key to long-term viability and meeting future requirements from banks and investors alike.”
